when you use mara, we collect:

• your phone number (to send and receive imessages)
• messages you send to mara and mara's responses
• strava data (activities, paces, distances) if you connect your account
• training plans and workout schedules we generate for you
• payment information (processed securely through our payment provider)

2. how we use it

your data is used solely to provide personalized coaching. we use your running history, goals, and messages to generate training plans, adjust workouts, and send relevant coaching messages.

3. ai processing

your messages are processed by ai to generate coaching responses. your data is not used to train ai models.

4. data sharing

we do not sell your data. we share data only with trusted service providers necessary to deliver the coaching experience, including payment processing and strava (if you connect your account).

5. data retention

your data is retained while your account is active. if you cancel and request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.

6. security

we use industry-standard encryption and secure infrastructure. payment data is handled entirely by our payment provider and never touches our servers.

7. your rights
